Concealment Clothing
Concealment clothing gives you the opportunity to dress in casual, non-conspicuous
clothing, ready at all times to access whatever weapon you may be carrying.
These strategically designed concealment garments and holsters have features with the gun user in mind. They
accommodate varying holster options, quick release designs and styles that subtly conceal the presence of
your weapon.
Concealment pants, for instance are made with tear-away pocket flaps to allow quick
access to hand guns carried in the pants from pockets. Conceal and carry vests are very popular and several
design features allow for easy flow of weapon access and usage including large inside pockets with room to
attach holsters that stay with the vest when the gun is drawn.
Belts used for holster mounts are made to look like regular dress or casual belts but
built with the extra strength needed to fully function as gun belts. Covert casual shirts have mock buttons
on the front placket which conceal break-away snaps for rapid drawing of a hand gun. Some shirts also have
break-away side vents for fast access.
The compression concealment short or undershirt holsters are a gun holsters made out
of surgical elastic and sewn into authentic spandex like underwear pieces. These are comfortable, hold the hand gun firmly until needed, go with any
kind of clothing and provide the confidence needed for true concealed carry. Of course, the need for a
superior deep concealment holster often compromises the holster for a fast draw.
Fanny packs, concealment purses, ankle magazine pouches and travel belts are other
pieces of gear you may need to explore to round out your tactical concealment outfit. And yet, the most
important piece in your concealment gear still is your own intelligence and skill at doing your job and
accomplishing your original purpose for a concealed carry.
Carrying a gun, concealed or not, gives you no edge or advantage if you do
not know how to shoot or violate safety procedures. The old adage about someone “shooting themselves in the
foot” is not just a metaphor but comes from real life mishaps.
Let the concealed gun carrier beware.
